Best of the Best in the Midwest Wrap-up |
|
by Al Caslow
First of all, I want to thank a few people and do that FIRST because without these incredible individuals this meet would have been a cluster.....
Thank you soooooo much to Ryan Lynnes, Chris Bangs, Deb Trobaugh and Heather Tillinghast. MY LORD, without these 4 people I would have died from a heart attack. Their incredible generosity, patience and drive to help me almost brought me to tears the night of. They kept me calm, they kept the meet on track, they kept the table organized and they took me in stride (I have the worst temper, EVER, and I couldn't have asked for better people by my side).
Thank you to Carter Craig, Chris Bartley, Kellen, Ryan Moody, Brad Johnson, Paul Mies, Dave Damminga and his partner from Minnesota, the two highschool studs that showed up and asked if they could help and little did they know what "loading" meant, Matt Trobaugh, Greg Tillinghast for his patience as Heather sat at the table from 9am to 8pm.... My wife, Shanna Lynnes, Missy Frankl, Mandy Bennet, Nick Falcon.

Feature: A Newbie's Encounter With SOS |
|
By Al Caslow
A new feature has come to www.sostrength.com. A newbie to SOS will be participating in an onsite log here on the website to document his journey. This will be an outstanding chance for those individuals wanting to get in to powerlifting to relate to a similar subject and gather his thoughts, hear his challenges, and successes. His contributions will include things such as a training log, his thoughts along the way, and his interactions in a true powerlifting environment. Join us here under the Newbie Log link to follow Ryan’s training and see how he progresses on a weekly, bi-weekly and monthly basis.
